Four images, 50 words per image. It is a followup to <a href=\"https:\/\/albert.aribaud.net\/en\/2021\/03\/17\/off-season\/\">the previous such challenge response<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I wake up. So I should have died, but I haven\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Snow did reach the lake side\u2026 and then stopped short.<\/p>\n<p>Also nausea and dizziness are gone. In fact I feel sharper than ever before. I see sharper too.<\/p>\n<p>I can\u2019t help bursting \u00ab\u00a0What the fuck?\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Maybe I can explain.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>*<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s wearing a headwrap, but&#8230; she\u2019s got hair?<\/p>\n<p>Her skin is so pure I would feel jealous if I still had feelings.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Our expedition found you. I stayed to take care of you. They will pick us up on their way back to the Citadel.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s my first angel ever.<\/p>\n<p>*<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Tell me about the Citadel.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0It faces the sun to keep us warm. Its weathervane beaconed other survivors toward us. As they rallied us, we built new housings eastwide. Now we go and help people like you, too far or weak to come by themselves.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Like a new Eden, then.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>*<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0How come I did not die?\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>She points to the cherry blossoms she put in place of the dried lemons.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Their tree looked dead in the winter. Summer came and it bloomed. You are blooming again too.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>I stay silent for a while.
